Sar Pass Trek: An Adventurous Journey Through the Himalayas. If you`re looking for an exhilarating trek in the Himalayas, the Sar Pass Trek is an excellent choice. The trek takes you through stunning landscapes, charming villages, and dense forests, with views of snow-capped peaks throughout the journey. The trek is suitable for both beginners and experienced trekkers, and it can be completed in five days and four nights.
You've arrived at Kasol. Begin your walk to Grahan Village from Kasol. Today, you will travel 8 kilometres from Kasol to Grahan in 4-5 hours. Trek to the left of Grahan settlement. This simple walk, popular with locals, ascends gently through magnificent pine trees. As you get away from the river, the terrain becomes rough and hilly. Rhododendrons abound throughout the woodland.
On this day, begin your trek from Grahan to Mung Thach. You will cover a total of 7kms in 4-5 hours. The trail to Mung Thach is often used by the villagers for their sheep and cattle.
Today we trek to the highest campsite of the Sar Pass Trek, Nagaru. The trek is short but difficult due to the steep trail. Some parts of the trail might be under snow.
Begin your journey to Biskeri Thach through SAR Pass early today. The ascent is strenuous through the snow, with views of Tosh Valley and Sar Pass Top. The vista at the summit of the SAR Pass is breathtaking, with unrivalled views of the beautiful mountains of Parvati Valley. Spend some time here and bring your lunch.
It is the last day of your SAR Pass journey. Biskeri Thach offers breathtaking views of pine trees, meadows, and the magnificent Mountains. The route descends through deep pine trees. The descent is straightforward into Pulga and across the Parvati River to the settlement of Barshaini.
