From Roopkund, the trail diverges towards the Nanda Ghunti Base Camp, where the climbers will acclimatize and prepare for the summit.
The climb to the summit of Nanda Ghunti is challenging, as it involves technical climbing skills and steep ice slopes. The climb is rewarded with breathtaking views of the surrounding peaks, including Trishul, Nanda Devi, and Kamet. The descent follows the same route back to Joshimath.

You will spend some time at the summit, taking in the views and clicking pictures, before descending to Summit Camp 2.
Today you will descend back to the Nanda Ghunti Base Camp, retracing the same trail. You will take it slow and easy to avoid any altitude-related problems. Once you reach the base camp, you will celebrate the successful summit and rest for the night.
Today, you will trek back to Lohajung, the starting point of the trek. The trail is downhill, and you will trek through dense forests and small villages. Once you reach Lohajung, you will check into a guest house and rest for the night.
