Trek Description

The Nanda Ghunti Peak Expedition starts from the beautiful hill town of Joshimath and proceeds through several picturesque villages and dense forests. The trail passes through the famous Kuari Pass and Roopkund, which are popular trekking destinations in the region. From Roopkund, the trail diverges towards the Nanda Ghunti Base Camp, where the climbers will acclimatize and prepare for the summit.

The climb to the summit of Nanda Ghunti is challenging, as it involves technical climbing skills and steep ice slopes. The climb is rewarded with breathtaking views of the surrounding peaks, including Trishul, Nanda Devi, and Kamet. The descent follows the same route back to Joshimath.
