Trek Description

Ranglana Peak Expedition: Conquer the Highest Peak in the Dhauladhar Range. Located in the Dhauladhar Range of Himachal Pradesh, Ranglana Peak stands tall at an altitude of 5,957 meters, offering stunning views of the surrounding peaks. Ranglana Peak Expedition is a challenging trek that requires a good level of fitness and mountaineering experience. The trail takes you through remote villages, dense forests, and glacial moraines, offering a unique blend of adventure and cultural experiences.

Day wise Details and Description

Day 1: Arrival in Delhi

Upon arrival in Delhi, you will be received by our representative and transferred to a hotel. You will have the day to rest and prepare for the trek.

Day 2: Delhi to McLeod Ganj (Drive: 10 hours)

After breakfast, we will start our journey from Delhi to McLeod Ganj, which is the starting point of the trek. The drive takes around 10 hours, and we will pass through beautiful landscapes and small villages. Upon arrival, we will check-in at a guest house and rest for the night.

Day 3: Acclimatization Day in McLeod Ganj

Today is an acclimatization day, and we will explore the town of McLeod Ganj and visit the famous Dalai Lama Temple. We will also have a briefing session about the trek and prepare our gear.

Day 4: McLeod Ganj to Triund (Trek: 9 km/ 5-6 hours)

After breakfast, we will start our trek from McLeod Ganj to Triund. The trail passes through dense forests of deodar, oak, and rhododendron, and we will camp overnight in Triund.

Day 5: Triund to Lahesh Cave (Trek: 6 km/ 4-5 hours)

After breakfast, we will start our trek from Triund to Lahesh Cave. The trail passes through scenic views of the Dhauladhar Range, and we will camp overnight in Lahesh Cave.

Day 6: Lahesh Cave to Chatta Parao (Trek: 8 km/ 5-6 hours)

After breakfast, we will start our trek from Lahesh Cave to Chatta Parao. The trail passes through glacial moraines and offers stunning views of the surrounding peaks. We will camp overnight in Chatta Parao.

Day 7: Chatta Parao to Indrahar Pass to Kuarsi (Trek: 14 km/ 9-10 hours)

After an early breakfast, we will start our trek from Chatta Parao to Indrahar Pass, which is the highest point of the trek. The trail is steep and challenging, but the views from the top are worth the effort. We will then descend to Kuarsi and camp overnight.

Day 8-16: Ranglana Peak Expedition

These are the days dedicated to Ranglana Peak Expedition. We will start early in the morning and trek for 5-6 hours, crossing glaciers and rocky terrain. We will camp overnight at different altitudes, depending on the route and weather conditions.

Day 17: Summit Day

Today is the day to summit Ranglana Peak. We will start early in the morning and trek for 7-8 hours, crossing challenging terrain and using mountaineering equipment. Upon reaching the summit, we will celebrate and take in the breathtaking views before descending to the base camp.

Day 18-19: Descend to Kuarsi and McLeod Ganj

We will descend from the base camp to Kuarsi and then to McLeod Ganj, where we will spend two days relaxing and exploring the town.

Day 20: McLeod Ganj to Delhi (Drive: 10 hours)

After breakfast, we will start our journey back to Delhi, where we will spend our last night in India. Upon arrival, we will check-in at a hotel and have some time to explore the city.

Day 21: Departure from Delhi

Today is the last day of our Ranglana Peak Expedition, and we will transfer you to the airport for your flight back home.
