Trek Description

The Bhagirathi Peak 2 trek is a challenging trek that requires a high level of physical fitness and experience in high altitude trekking. The trek starts from the village of Gangotri and takes you through several remote villages and high altitude campsites before reaching the base of Bhagirathi Peak 2. The trek offers stunning views of the Gangotri Glacier, Bhagirathi peaks, and the surrounding snow-capped mountains.

Day wise Details and Description

Day 1:

Arrive in Delhi and transfer to hotel

Day 2:

Drive from Delhi to Uttarkashi

Day 3:

Drive from Uttarkashi to Gangotri (3,048m)

Day 4:

Acclimatization day in Gangotri

Day 5:

Trek from Gangotri to Bhojbasa (3,775m)

Day 6:

Trek from Bhojbasa to Nandanvan (4,400m)

Day 7:

Acclimatization day in Nandanvan

Day 8:

Trek from Nandanvan to Vasuki Tal (4,800m)

Day 9:

Trek from Vasuki Tal to Khara Pathar (5,000m)

Day 10:

Trek from Khara Pathar to Bhagirathi Base Camp (5,300m)

Day 11-20:

Ascend Bhagirathi Peak 2 (6,512m) and return to base camp

Day 21:

Trek from Bhagirathi Base Camp to Bhojbasa

Day 22:

Trek from Bhojbasa to Gangotri

Day 23:

Drive from Gangotri to Uttarkashi and return to Delhi
