Trek Description

The Kedar Dome Expedition begins from the holy town of Gangotri and follows the traditional route to Gaumukh, the source of the River Ganges. From there, the trail leads to Tapovan, which offers stunning views of the Bhagirathi Peaks. The trek then goes to Kedar Kharak and Kedar Dome Base Camp, which is at an altitude of 16,200 feet. The trek then reaches its pinnacle with the summit of Kedar Dome at an altitude of 22,100 feet.

Day 1:

Arrival in Dehradun and drive to Gangotri

Day 2:

Acclimatization day at Gangotri

Day 3:

Trek from Gangotri to Bhojbasa

Day 4:

Trek from Bhojbasa to Gaumukh and Tapovan

Day 5:

Rest day at Tapovan

Day 6:

Trek from Tapovan to Kedar Kharak

Day 7:

Trek from Kedar Kharak to Kedar Dome Base Camp

Day 8-13:

Climbing and acclimatization at Kedar Dome Base Camp

Day 14-15:

Summit attempt and back to Base Camp

Day 16:

Reserve day

Day 17:

Trek from Kedar Dome Base Camp to Kedar Kharak

Day 18:

Trek from Kedar Kharak to Gangotri

Day 19:

Drive from Gangotri to Dehradun
