Trek Description

The Bandarpunch Expedition Trek starts from Sankri and takes you through some of the most beautiful and remote villages in the region. The trail passes through dense forests, beautiful meadows, and gushing rivers. The trek is moderately difficult, and trekkers need to have good physical fitness and endurance to complete the trek. The trek reaches its highest altitude of 6,316 meters at the Bandarpunch mountain peak.

Day wise Details and Description

Day 1:

Arrival at Dehradun and drive to Sankri (7-8 hours)

Day 2:

Trek from Sankri to Taluka (1-hour drive, 10 km trek, 5-6 hours)

Day 3:

Trek from Taluka to Seema (14 km trek, 5-6 hours)

Day 4:

Trek from Seema to Rainbasera (7 km trek, 3-4 hours)

Day 5:

Trek from Rainbasera to Dhunda (8 km trek, 5-6 hours)

Day 6:

Trek from Dhunda to Kalkati Dhar (10 km trek, 6-7 hours)

Day 7:

Rest day at Kalkati Dhar

Day 8:

Trek from Kalkati Dhar to Bandarpunch Base Camp (6 km trek, 4-5 hours)

Day 9:

Summit attempt and acclimatization at Bandarpunch Base Camp

Day 10:

Trek from Bandarpunch Base Camp to Kalkati Dhar (6 km trek, 4-5 hours)

Day 11:

Trek from Kalkati Dhar to Rainbasera (18 km trek, 6-7 hours)

Day 12:

Trek from Rainbasera to Seema (7 km trek, 3-4 hours)

Day 13:

Trek from Seema to Taluka (14 km trek, 5-6 hours)

Day 14:

Drive from Taluka to Dehradun (8-9 hours)

Day 15:

Departure from Dehradun
