Trek Description

The Pindari Glacier Trek is one of the most popular treks in the Kumaon region of Uttarakhand. It takes you through lush green forests, charming villages, and scenic meadows, all the way up to the stunning Pindari Glacier. The trek is of moderate difficulty and is suitable for both beginners and experienced trekkers. The trail passes through remote areas, offering trekkers a glimpse into the local culture and way of life.

Day wise Details and Description

Day 1:

Kathgodam to Loharkhet (2290m), drive of 240 km (10-11 hours)

Day 2:

Loharkhet to Dhakuri (2680m) 11 km trek (5-6 hours)

Day 3:

Dhakuri to Khati (2210m) 10 km trek (5-6 hours)

Day 4:

Khati to Dwali (2575m) 11 km trek (6-7 hours)

Day 5:

Dwali to Phurkia (3200m) 7 km trek (4-5 hours)

Day 6:

Phurkia to Zero Point (Pindari Glacier) (3900m) and back to Dwali 16 km trek (9-10 hours)

Day 7:

Dwali to Khati 11 km trek (5-6 hours)

Day 8:

Khati to Loharkhet 21 km trek (7-8 hours)

Day 9:

Loharkhet to Kathgodam, drive of 240 km (10-11 hours)
