Trek Description

Pin Parvati Pass Trek is one of the most challenging treks in India that takes you through the stunning landscapes of the Parvati Valley. This trek is considered to be a test of endurance and physical strength, as you will be required to cross high altitude passes, glaciers, and rocky terrain. The trek also offers breathtaking views of snow-capped peaks, glistening waterfalls, and alpine forests.

Day wise Details and Description

Day 1: Arrival in Manali

Arrive in Manali and check into your hotel. Spend the day acclimatizing to the altitude and exploring the local markets.

Day 2: Drive from Manali to Barsheni (2300m) and trek to Khirganga (2960m)

Drive to Barsheni and start your trek to Khirganga. The trail passes through dense forests and along the Parvati River.

Day 3: Trek from Khirganga to Tunda Bhuj (3285m)

Trek through meadows and forests to reach Tunda Bhuj. Enjoy the stunning views of the Himalayas along the way.

Day 4: Trek from Tunda Bhuj to Thakur Kuan (3400m)

The trail becomes steeper and rockier as you climb towards Thakur Kuan. You will cross several streams and waterfalls along the way.

Day 5: Trek from Thakur Kuan to Odi Thach (3900m)

Today`s trek takes you through the beautiful alpine meadows of Odi Thach. Keep an eye out for the Himalayan wildlife that can be found in the area.

Day 6: Trek from Odi Thach to Mantalai Lake (4116m)

The trail today takes you to the stunning Mantalai Lake, which is believed to be the source of the Parvati River. The trek is challenging and requires you to cross glaciers and rocky terrain.

Day 7: Rest day at Mantalai Lake

Spend the day resting and exploring the area around Mantalai Lake.

Day 8: Trek from Mantalai Lake to Pin Parvati Pass Base Camp (4800m)

Today`s trek takes you to the base camp of Pin Parvati Pass. The trail is steep and requires you to cross several streams and boulder fields.

Day 9: Cross Pin Parvati Pass (5319m) and camp at Pin River (4200m)

Today is the most challenging day of the trek as you cross the Pin Parvati Pass. The pass offers stunning views of the Himalayas but requires you to cross a glacier and steep rocky terrain.

Day 10: Trek from Pin River to Mud (3650m)

The trail today takes you through the beautiful Pin Valley. You will cross several streams and waterfalls along the way.

Day 11: Drive from Mud to Kaza (3800m)

Drive from Mud to Kaza, a small town in the Spiti Valley. Spend the day exploring the local monasteries and markets.

Day 12: Drive from Kaza to Manali

Drive back to Manali and spend the evening exploring the town.

Day 13: Departure from Manali

Check out from your hotel and depart from Manali.
