Panwali Kantha Trek is one of the most popular treks in Uttarakhand, India. The trek takes you through scenic meadows, dense forests, and stunning views of the Himalayan range. It is an easy to moderate level trek, suitable for beginners as well as experienced trekkers.

Day wise Details and Description

Day 1: Dehradun to Sankri

The trek starts from Dehradun and you will drive to Sankri which is the base camp for this trek. The drive takes around 8-9 hours, passing through beautiful landscapes of Uttarakhand. After reaching Sankri, you can explore the village and spend the night in a guest house.

Day 2: Sankri to Juda Ka Talab

The trek starts from Sankri and takes around 4-5 hours to reach Juda Ka Talab, which is a beautiful lake surrounded by dense forests. The trail is well-marked and offers stunning views of the surrounding mountains. You can set up your camps near the lake and spend the night there.

Day 3: Juda Ka Talab to Panwali Kantha

The trek from Juda Ka Talab to Panwali Kantha takes around 4-5 hours and offers stunning views of the Himalayan range. You will be trekking through lush green meadows and dense forests. Once you reach Panwali Kantha, you can set up your camps and spend the night.

Day 4: Panwali Kantha to Dhara

The trek from Panwali Kantha to Dhara takes around 4-5 hours and offers stunning views of the Himalayan range. You will be trekking through dense forests and scenic meadows. Once you reach Dhara, you can set up your camps and spend the night.

Day 5: Dhara to Sankri and back to Dehradun

The trek from Dhara to Sankri takes around 3-4 hours and offers beautiful views of the valley. Once you reach Sankri, you can take a drive back to Dehradun where the trek ends.
