Nag Tibba Trek is a popular weekend trek located in the foothills of the Garhwal Himalayas in Uttarakhand, India. It is known for its stunning views of snow-capped peaks, dense forests, and picturesque meadows. The trek gets its name from the Nag Tibba peak, which stands at an altitude of 9,915 feet above sea level.
The trek begins with a scenic drive from Dehradun to Pantwari village, which takes around 3-4 hours. From Pantwari, the trek to Nag Tibba Base Camp is an uphill climb of around 4-5 hours, passing through dense forests of oak and rhododendron trees. The base camp is located at an altitude of 7,000 feet and offers stunning views of the surrounding peaks.
The second day of the trek starts early in the morning as you make your way to the summit of Nag Tibba peak. It is a steep climb of around 2-3 hours, but the stunning views of the snow-capped peaks make it worth the effort. After spending some time at the summit, you descend back to the base camp and then to Pantwari village. From there, you drive back to Dehradun.
