Maldaru Lake Trek is a breathtakingly beautiful trek situated in the Indian state of Himachal Pradesh. The trek takes you through dense forests, alpine meadows, and spectacular views of snow-capped peaks. The highlight of this trek is the Maldaru Lake, a pristine high-altitude lake surrounded by towering mountains. This trek is perfect for adventure enthusiasts who want to explore the untouched beauty of the Himalayas.

Day wise Details and Description

Day 1: Arrival in Manali

Arrive in Manali and check-in to the hotel. The day is free for you to explore the town and acclimatize to the high altitude.

Day 2: Manali to Babeli

After breakfast, drive to Babeli, which is the starting point of the trek. The drive takes around 4-5 hours. Camp overnight in Babeli.

Day 3: Babeli to Kara

The trek starts from Babeli and follows a steep ascent to the Kara campsite. The trek takes around 5-6 hours. Overnight stay in tents at Kara.

Day 4: Kara to Ziarat

The trek continues through beautiful alpine meadows and lush green forests to Ziarat campsite. The trek takes around 6-7 hours. Overnight stay in tents at Ziarat.

Day 5: Ziarat to Maldaru Lake

Today, the trek takes you to the highlight of the trip, the Maldaru Lake. The trek is a steep climb, but the stunning views of the lake make it all worth it. The trek takes around 5-6 hours. Overnight stay in tents near the lake.

Day 6: Rest day at Maldaru Lake

Spend the day relaxing near the lake, exploring the surroundings, and soaking in the breathtaking views of the mountains.

Day 7: Maldaru Lake to Ziarat

After breakfast, start trekking back to the Ziarat campsite. The trek takes around 5-6 hours. Overnight stay in tents at Ziarat.

Day 8: Ziarat to Babeli

Today, the trek ends with a downhill walk back to Babeli. The trek takes around 4-5 hours. Drive back to Manali and check-in to the hotel.

Day 9: Departure from Manali

Depart from Manali after breakfast, carrying back beautiful memories of the trek.
