Trek Description

The trek starts from Sari village, and the trail passes through dense forests of rhododendron, oak, and pine trees. The route follows the Pindar river and takes you to Deoria Tal, a beautiful lake with crystal clear water. From there, the trek leads to Rohini Bugyal, which offers stunning views of Mt. Nanda Ghunti and Mt. Trishul. The trail then ascends towards Khimloga Pass, which is situated at an altitude of 5,215 meters. The pass offers spectacular views of the surrounding mountains, including Mt. Kamet, Mt. Nanda Devi, and Mt. Dunagiri. After crossing the pass, the trek descends towards the village of Tapovan and ends at Joshimath.

Day 1:

Arrival in Haridwar and drive to Sari village

Day 2:

Trek from Sari village to Deoria Tal

Day 3:

Trek from Deoria Tal to Rohini Bugyal

Day 4:

Trek from Rohini Bugyal to Khimloga Pass Base Camp

Day 5:

Trek from Base Camp to Khimloga Pass

Day 6:

Trek from Khimloga Pass to Tapovan

Day 7:

Rest day at Tapovan

Day 8:

Trek from Tapovan to Urgam Valley

Day 9:

Drive from Urgam Valley to Joshimath
