Day wise Details and Description

Day 1: Dehradun to Joshimath (256 km)

The vehicle will be provided, and the departure time is 6:30 in the morning, from the Dehradun Train Station. After arriving in Devprayag, enjoy the sight of the Bhagirathi River cascading into the Alaknanda River as you continue your drive along the banks of the River Ganga. Magnificent mountain views can be seen as the river flows from the Devprayag confluence. Eat lunch along the way, then arrive in Joshimath in the evening. The plans will be created in a hotel or guest home there.

Day 2: Drive from Joshimath to Jumma (45 km) and trek to Ruing village (3 km)

After breakfast, you will be driven to Jumma, a village close to the Tibetan border that will take you an hour to arrive. Dhauliganga River and other villages are located along route. There are strong winds there because it is so near to the Tibetan border. Start your journey to Ruing Village, cross the Dhauliganga River on a bridge, and then start your ascent. After navigating the challenging forested terrain, Ruing can be reached in two to three hours.

Day 3: Ruin village to Dronagiri village (8 km)

There are ups and downs on the forest walk. Additionally, are there regions that are prone to landslides, and does the landscape suddenly become steep and dusty with a stream crossing the way. You can reach the settlement through a cement road that provides spectacular views of the High Himalayan peaks Ghori Parvat, Hathi Parvat, and other snow-covered summits. You will be in awe of the summer's blooming flowers and lush surroundings.

Day 4: Dronagiri village to Longatulli (6 km)

After breakfast, go from Dronagiri village and begin climbing a high ridge to see Rishi Peak for the first time and Bagini Nala in the distance. Reach the concrete bridge over Bagini Nala after a 30-minute hike. The land is now completely barren of flora and covered in rocks. After an hour of hiking, you will arrive to a grassy area next to a stream, where Longatulli's camping area is located. Set up your camps there and go to sleep.

Day 5: Longatulli to Garpak via Kanari Khal

Continue on the path that leads to the Bagini Glacier until you come to a bridge over the Bagini River. The trail ahead is going to get narrow and steep as you climb a steep crest. The saddle of Kanari Khal may be seen from a distance when the treeline thins down. The Bagini River is visible below, gushing. You may see Nandi Kund Pass when strolling along Kanari Khal's ridge. After around three and a half hours, you'll reach the top and enjoy the stunning view of Dunagiri sparkling among other tall snow-capped peaks. Kanari Khal is attractive because colourful alpine flowers are so common.

Day 6: Garpak to Jumma via Ruing (8 km)

After breakfast, begin the hike and take in the beautiful scenery. To get to Jumma, hike along the Lampak and Bagini streams. Exit Garpak and go towards Ruing; Lampak will merge with the Bagini stream on your left. The connecting path can be reached by crossing it over a bridge. Reach Jumma following a steep drop.

Day 7: Jumma to Joshimath (3 km)

Go in that direction from Jumma; the roadhead is 3 kilometres away. Be there in two to three hours. From there, transportation will be set up to get to Joshimath.

Day 8: Joshimath to Dehradun (10/12 hours)

After breakfast, travel to Dehradun.
