Trek Description

If you`re an avid trekker looking for an adventurous journey through the lush green meadows, snowy mountains, and shimmering streams, then the Hampta Pass Trek is a must-visit. The trek starts from the charming town of Manali and takes you through the Kullu Valley and the Spiti Valley, providing breathtaking views of the Himalayas.

Day wise Details and Description

Day 1: Pickup to you from Manali to Jobra

All trekkers assemble at the Manali Mall Road Head, and then go by vehicle to Jobra. Manali sits at an elevation of 6,700 feet above sea level. It is an excellent area to acclimatise before beginning the climb. You will reach a height of 10,100 feet on the first day. The hike begins at the Allain Guhugal Hydropower Project Junction. Along the main route, you will see a variety of trees such as maple, deodar, and oak. The view is quite pleasant.

Day 2: Trek from Cheeka camp to Balu ka Gera

After breakfast, begin your hike to Balu ka Gera. It's a four-hour easy ascent to Balu Ka Gera, your day's campsite. For the most part, the track follows the banks of the river. This trail goes to steep terrain and boulder slop. The elevation is gentle, and the gorgeous Dhauladhar range can be seen in the distance. When one catches a peek of the Indrasan Peak, the view is worth drooling over. The panorama becomes fairytale-like, and the gradient progressively rises till it reaches the Jwara Nala. The River Crossing is the most thrilling part. River crossing is not for the faint of heart because necessary precautions must be taken.

Day 3: Trek from Balu ka Gera to via Hampta pass

Climb today to Hampta Pass, your goal at 14,107 feet. The path follows the river, with gorgeous orange and pink flowers on the bank. The river route leads to the base of Hampta Pass, where the difficult ascent begins. Traverse two ridges to reach the pass, and you will come across the Deo Tibba Plateau. The ridge top provides a glimpse of another similar ridge beyond which lies Hampta Pass.

Day 4: Trek from Shea Goru camp to Chatru camp

Everyone's favourite camping spot is Shea Goru. The contrast may be found in the cases. It's LAhaul's magnificent barren valley. Not only that, but the addition of a wildflower and a little stream passing by adds to the ethereality.

Day 5: Trek from Chatru camp to via Rohtang pass

The trip from Chatru camp to today's last breakfast with us is really gorgeous. See the panoramic view of Rohtang Pass and other mountain ranges and hamlets in Kullu and Manali. The penultimate day would be a quiet day before the five lavish exciting days conclude in Himachal Pradesh.
