Everest Base Camp Trek is one of the most iconic treks in the world, taking trekkers through the majestic Himalayan range in Nepal. This moderate level trek can be completed in 13 days and 12 nights, offering breathtaking views of the Everest and the surrounding peaks.
Spend today exploring the lovely city of Kathmandu. We will check to see if you have the appropriate hiking equipment or if anything is missing after a quick briefing in the hotel the previous evening and overnight stay. Prepare the trek's necessities and enjoy a comfortable hotel overnight.
Arrive at Kathmandu's Tribhuvan Domestic Airport after breakfast to catch a flight to Lukla. You can fly there in half an hour, and because it passes through several valleys, mountain ranges, and charming villages, it will be one of the nicest flying experiences you've ever had. As you arrive in Lukla, the team members will greet you and take you on a five-hour walk to Phakding. Go through some picturesque villages and verdant slopes. You will stay in a guesthouse once you get in Phakding.
The destination of today's trip is Namche Bazar, which is located at a height of 3440 metres. This area is surrounded by stunning, enormous green mountains, and the trip up the Dudh Koshi to Namche is enjoyable. Take a break in Monjo, and then the climb through the lush green forest begins. If the weather is clear, you may be able to see Lhotse and the enormous Mt. Everest as you approach Namche.
Today is a leisure day, but you can also go exploring. Just above this Bazaar is a Namche museum, and from there you can see Mount Everest and Mount Lhotse well./p>
At a height of 3,860 metres, the trip is in the direction of a little valley. One of the nicest locations on this walk is here. The largest monastery in the Khumbu region is Tengboche. Tengboche may be reached from Namche Bazaar in 5 to 6 hours thanks to the trail's combination of moderate and tough terrain. Cross a further ridge of height.
Begin your trek by heading to Pangboche, a village from which you can enjoy spectacular views of Mt. Ama Dablam. You will be given a packed lunch to eat at Pangboche. Then trek to Pheriche and on to Imja Valley. The Lobuche River is ahead, which you must cross, and the trail is steep from here until Dingboche. It takes 6 to 7 hours to travel from Tengboche to Dingboche.
Today, go for a short hike to see views of the world's highest mountains, Mt. Lhotse, Mt. Makalu, and Mt. Co Yu. There will be more peaks and ranges visible. Return and stay in a hotel.
Today is the shortest trek because the distance is shorter than on previous days. The trail is level and offers some spectacular views, including Mt. Pumori and a glacial lake to the right. Cross the Dhhudkoshi River before arriving at the guest house; the Khumbu glacier's wall can be seen from here. Stay at a lodge or a guest house today.
Lobuche is located next to the Khumbu Glacier; today's trek begins with a difficult climb to Dughla Pass. The trek from Dughla is steep, and there are memorials to mountaineers who died in some expeditions. The journey will be moderate, but it will be entirely through glacier terrain. Mt. Everest will be visible on the way, but from the base camp, the full view will be obscured by the Khumbu ice wall.
The climb to Kala Patthar is the most difficult part of this trek, but the views are spectacular. Mt. Everest can be seen clearly from this vantage point, as can the high peaks of the Himalayan Ranges. You can get from Gorakshep to Kala Patthar in 3 hours. Once there, the trail descends and becomes easier, but be cautious as you descend. You will eventually arrive in Lobuche, where you can stay or trek down to Pheriche.
Today's trek will be moderate, with a short hike before Tengboche and then a short hike after Phungi Thanga to Namche Bazaar.
Today, return from Namche Bazaar to Lukla airport/market and enjoy your final day of trekking in the Khumbu region. The trail challenges make the trek more difficult. The trek to Lukla is simple, but it appears to be very long.
You must return today, so proceed to the airport and board a flight to Kathmandu. Do not overlook the valley and high mountain views while flying. When you arrive in Kathmandu, you can spend the day exploring Nepali culture and traditions. Stay in a hotel or guest house.
It`s time to say goodbye to Nepal and head back home with memories of a lifetime. Our representative will drop you off at the airport as per your flight schedule.
