Dodital Trek is a beautiful trek in the Uttarakhand region of India. The trek is named after the serene Dodital lake which is the highlight of the trek. The trek takes you through dense forests, beautiful meadows and stunning views of the Himalayas. The trail is moderate and is suitable for beginners and experienced trekkers alike. Here is a detailed itinerary for a 6-day 5-night trek to Dodital.
We set up vehicles for you to depart from Dehradun Railway Station between six and seven in the morning. You'll travel via Rajpur Road or via Mussoorie and arrive here around 8 AM. One of the most popular hill stations in Uttarakhand is Mussoorie.
Today After breakfast, we will trek for approximately 9 km (about 5-6 hours) from Bhebra Camp to Manji Camp. Manji Camp is a wilderness camping area with dense forest all around. The lovely melodious sounds of birds can be heard at this locals' weekend hut. I adore this campground.
We will travel today from Manji to Dodital, a distance of about 5-6 km. On the way there are trail routes, dense forests, and charming views that enthral everyone. Eventually, we will arrive at Dodital, our destination.
Darwa Top is a stunning ridge from which travellers can access Yamunotri or Hanuman Chatti. At 4150m above sea level, Darwa Top.
After breakfast, hike downhill along the same route to Bhebra camp. It's simple to descend. But take care to enjoy our final campfire together.
Transport from Sangamchatti to Dehradun via Mussoorie was arranged for you by BackToTrek.
