Day wise Details and Description

Day 1: Dehradun to Sankri (210 km, 8-9 hours)

The trek starts from Dehradun, which is well connected to major cities in India. From Dehradun, you will drive to Sankri, which is a small village located at an altitude of 1,920 meters. The drive takes you through scenic routes and offers views of the valleys and mountains.

Day 2: Sankri to Taluka to Seema (12 km, 5-6 hours)

From Sankri, you will drive to Taluka and then trek to Seema. The trek takes you through dense forests of pine and oak trees and offers views of the Har Ki Dun valley. Seema is a small village located at an altitude of 2,560 meters.

Day 3: Seema to Rainbasera (10 km, 4-5 hours)

The trek from Seema to Rainbasera takes you through beautiful meadows and small streams. Rainbasera is a high-altitude campsite located at an altitude of 3,200 meters.

Day 4: Rainbasera to Dhumdhar Kandi Base Camp (10 km, 6-7 hours)

The trek from Rainbasera to Dhumdhar Kandi Base Camp takes you through the beautiful meadows of Devsu Thatch and offers views of the Swargarohini range. The base camp is located at an altitude of 4,000 meters.

Day 5: Rest day at Dhumdhar Kandi Base Camp

You will spend a day at the base camp to acclimatize and prepare for the next day`s trek.

Day 6: Dhumdhar Kandi Base Camp to Dhumdhar Kandi Pass (5 km, 5-6 hours) to Devsu Thatch (5 km, 3-4 hours)

The trek from Dhumdhar Kandi Base Camp to the pass is challenging and takes you through rocky terrain and snow patches. The pass is located at an altitude of 5,230 meters and offers stunning views of the surrounding mountains and glaciers. After crossing the pass, you will trek down to Devsu Thatch, which is a beautiful meadow located at an altitude of 3,800 meters.

Day 7: Devsu Thatch to Taluka (15 km, 6-7 hours)

The trek from Devsu Thatch to Taluka takes you through dense forests and beautiful meadows. Taluka is a small village located at an altitude of 1,900 meters.

Day 8: Taluka to Sankri (12 km, 4-5 hours)

The trek from Taluka to Sankri takes you through beautiful forests and offers views of the surrounding valleys and mountains.

Day 9: Sankri to Dehradun (210 km, 8-9 hours)

You will drive back to Dehradun and reach by late afternoon.
