Darati Pass Trek is a beautiful trek that takes you through the scenic Himalayan mountains of Himachal Pradesh, India. The trek offers stunning views of the surrounding peaks, alpine meadows, and lush forests. It is a moderate level trek and can be completed in 8 days and 7 nights.
The transportation will be organised from Pathankot to Dalhousie, a picturesque hill station in the Chamba area.
After breakfast, proceed to Kalatop Wildlife Sanctuary to enjoy the region before continuing to Khajiyar. When we get in Chamba after lunch, we will make plans to stay in a hotel there. See the Bhri Singh Museum as well as the Laxmi Narayan Mandir. Return to the little village of Chanju, which is located in the Churah block of Chamba.
Go to Chanju, a little town 70 kilometres distant in the Churah district of Chamba. Set up your camp there, tour the community in the evening, then return and settle for the day.
Begin the walk early in the morning and make your way to Kalpra. Explore the exhilarating path and overcome severe ascents. It will take around 5 hours to go to Kalpra.
After breakfast, gradually ascend to Alyas. Alyas, also known as Lahesh in the local language, are the base ground of passes or the campgrounds found on both sides of the passes. Explore boulder fields and Himalayan pasturelands. As you gain height, the neighbouring peaks become more spectacular. Arrive in 5 to 6 hours and spend the night.
The ascent from Alyas Base Camp to Darati Pass is steep, so start training early. Begin your ascent at 4:00 a.m. since walking on frozen snow is easier than walking on new snow. We need to get to the pass as soon as possible since weather conditions might change at any time.
After a thrilling trek to Darati Pass, visit this famous Trilokinath and enjoy your journey to Udaipur.
Visit the Mirkla Mata temple in Udaipur, go to Keylong, Dist. Headquarter of Lahaul. From here move to Manali via Rohtang Pass.
