Day wise Details and Description

Day 1: Chandigarh to Nauradhar

The pickup will take place at the Chandigarh Bus Stop at 6:30 a.m. Depart for Nauradhar, the beginning site of the Churdhar trek. The first section is a difficult rise through muddy terrain. Following that, steadily ascend through pine forest until you reach Jam Nallah, your campsite for the day. It is surrounded by cedar and pine trees. Tasty snacks and meals will be supplied before you retire for the evening.

Day 2: Jam Nallah to Churdhar peak

This is a long trekking day, so get up early. Climb steadily for 5 kilometres amid forest cover to reach Teesri at 3250 metres. Teesri has a few businesses along the mountain crest; it is the windiest spot on the entire hike. The treeline recedes after crossing Teesri. A 2 kilometre journey will take you to Chureshwar temple, and the peak is 1 mile distant.

Day 3: Jam Nallah to Nauradhar (7 km) and drive to Chandigarh (130 km)

Post breakfast leave for Nauradhar by following the same route which you followed on Day 1. Reach Nauradhar and leave for Chandigarh in the arranged vehicle.
