Trek Description

Chaainsheel Bugyal Trek is one of the lesser-known treks in the Uttarakhand region of India. This trek takes you through some of the most beautiful meadows and forests of the region, offering a chance to witness the stunning Himalayan ranges up close. The trek is ideal for nature lovers, bird watchers, and photography enthusiasts who seek a peaceful escape from the hustle-bustle of city life.

Day wise Details and Description

Day 1: Pickup from Dehradun railway station drive to Himari camp (8-9 hours drive)

At the Dehradun Train Station in the morning, Himalayan Hikers arranges transportation for trekkers, who will depart for Khanyasni camp between 6:00 am and 7:00 am. One of India's most picturesque cities is Dehradun, which serves as the state capital of Uttarakhand. The main draw of this location is Rajpur Road; travel along it to see Dehradun's splendour. After an hour, arrive in Mussoorie, commonly known as the "Queen of Hills". During vacations, a lot of people go there with their families and friends. After arriving in Mori and travelling for an hour, you will come across a checkpoint called Naitwar. As you get to the Himari camp site, you can enjoy tea or snacks.

Day 2: Trek from Himari camp to via Estari gad to Akhoti Thach (6-7 hours)

It will be a long day, so have breakfast in your camp, Himari Camp, then leave for Akhoti Thach with a packed lunch. The trail is not difficult; begin your journey with a leisurely stroll and continue with some simple ascents. As you continue the trail, you will pass by streams where you may fill up your water bottles while you hike through gloomy pine forests in the shadow of these trees. Continue travelling along the trail that runs alongside the Estari Gad River. You will eventually arrive at the settlement of "Hadwari" if you keep travelling along that trail. You can see many different birds and animals as you stroll through the forest. As you continue, a meadow—Akhoti Thach—will open up in front of you. You'll be surprised by how lovely this campsite is; set up camp right in the midst of the meadow. Enjoy dinner and an overnight tent stay here.

Day 3: Trek from Akhoti Thach to Gujar hat camp (3-4 hours)

After eating breakfast at the campsite, begin your hike to Gujar Hat Camp. Peaks in Himachal to the north offer funny views of an unusual mountain. On the journey, you will pass by streams where you can rest. Take in the forest hike. Only today can you view pine trees and other kinds; after you get to camp, enjoy a nice lunch there.

Day 4: Trek from Gujar hat to Chaainsheel Bugyal -Explore around Chaainsheel Bugyal (5-6 hours)

Leave the forest behind today and travel to Chaainsheel Bugyal (11750 feet), where you will find broad meadows and breathtaking vistas of the Garhwal Himalayas. When you depart from Gujar Hat, you may encounter snow patches on the road and in the fields, which enhances their beauty. As you enter the enticing meadows, you will observe the Ganga and Yamuna Rivers discharging water into the Bandarpoonch Glacier. Views of Swargarohini Peak, the Thola Sheer slopes, and Black Peak will be breathtaking. From Day 3 until the finish of the walk, you begin to see their views. You will have enough time today to visit this campsite, which is at an elevation of 11,700 feet and offers fantastic panoramic views of the Himalayan Peaks and snow. In June, Chaainsheel Bugyal is in full bloom, with a wide range of vibrant blossoming flowers and tranquil vegetation. Trekkers are drawn to these high-altitude meadows because of the tranquil vegetation and energising environment, which have an aura that calms the mind and promotes tranquillity. Visit this location, catch the moments with your cameras, and wander to gather and record them in your adventure journal.

Day 5: Trek from Chaainsheel Bugyal to Akhoti Thach

Don't miss the sunrise from this valley. It's the only place from which you can see high peaks like Bandarpoonch Peak (6300 Meters), Black Peak (6387 Meters), Kalanag, Ruinsara Lake (350 Meters), Bali Pass (4950 Meters), and Swargarohini (I, II, and III) (6300 Meters). numerous additional peaks Har Ki Dun (3650 metres), Kedarkantha (3800 metres), and Rupin pass (4685 meter). Because this is your last day in Chaainsheel Bugyal, get up early to take in the scenery. Take the time to properly inspect everything so that nothing is missed. As you sip your first hot cup of tea while gazing at snow-covered mountains, eat breakfast, and then say your final goodbyes to this location.

Day 6: Trek from Akhoti Thach to Himari

Today is the last day of your trip from Akhoti Thach to the Himari camp; it will take you 4-5 hours to get there. Return to the Dhaula campground where you were on Day 1 by retracing your steps. meals and a tent-based overnight stay.

Day 7: Drive from Himari camp to Dehradun

Take a breakfast. This morning, have breakfast with the Team Himalayan Hikers at the Himari Camp before departing for Dehradun. Be there on time by leaving early.
