Bhrigu Lake Trek is a beautiful trek that takes you through the scenic trails of the Himalayas in Himachal Pradesh, India. The trek offers stunning views of the surrounding peaks, alpine meadows, and the serene Bhrigu Lake. It is a moderate level trek and can be completed in 4 days and 3 nights.
The journey begins at Manali Mall Road and continues on the Rohtang Pass Road to the little hill nook hamlet of Gulaba Road head. The route is marked by three hill towns—Kolang, Palchan, and Kothi—and it becomes increasingly gorgeous with pine woods as we travel. The little town is surrounded by stunning snow-covered mountains. Lovely grasses washed over by the Beas watercourse would create great frames in Gulaba if the Rohtang transit population wasn't present.
Today we begin at an elevation of 12,569 feet. 5 kilometres in 4/5 hours. It will be a long, uphill hike, so bring 2 litres of water and some snack bits to let you relax between testing laps. You will pass through several woodlands, including oaks and cedars. Because of the lovely sight, your eyes will be drawn to the aura surrounding you.
Wake up early morning – Notice the changes in the landscapes from what you have been experiencing in the days before. Start early in the morning as we will travel across a distance of 10 km in approx. 7-8 hours on a very steep and stony path. The meadows look so dreamy that this will catch everyone’s attention especially the photographers. The refreshing wind in the mountain is captivating. Till June, Rola Khuli will be covered in snow. One will start noticing the gradients of brown, green and white once the snow melts off.
Following breakfast, we walk down to base camp via the verdant meadows of Gulaba, which takes about 2- 3 hours, and then take a taxi back to Manali, arriving about 4:30 p.m.
